Miniature Fine Art is a special category of art that must conform to strict guidelines. First and foremost, it can be no larger than about 4 x 6". It is known as art that fits in the palm of your hand!  It must adhere to all the principles that govern fine art such as proportion, perspective, line, and so on. In addition it must hold up to magnification of at least 3x and still maintain integrity. Miniatures are mostly of the realism or representational genre, showing great attention to detail. Miniatures are highly sought after and collected world wide.
